Mari Vineyards

Mari Vineyards is nestled on the Old Mission Peninsula and is designed to model a Tuscan winery. By using the innovative technique of utilizing heat-capturing canopies, a process known as “Nellaserra,” Mari Vineyards is able to ensure the maturation of exotic red grape varietals through the cold spring and chilly autumn temperatures.

Today, Mari Vineyards has more than 60 acres of grapes planted, producing a variety of estate-grown reds and whites. The 30,000-square-foot gravity flow production facility and tasting room is open daily. Groups should call ahead to arrange a tasting and tour.

The winery is currently working closely with the Bee & Butterfly Habitat Fund to replace standard lawns with sustainable cover crops in the form of habitats for honeybees and monarch butterflies.
