Red Wine Cake (Rotweinkuchen)


From Chateau Chantal

10-1/2 ounces butter
1-1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
6 eggs
1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1-1/2 teaspoons cocoa, powdered
10-1/2 ounces flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 cup Naughty Red wine
5-1/4 ounces chocolate chips

Mix all of the ingredients together in the listed order. Grease and dust with flour: 2 small, or 1 large round cake pan and fill with mixture. Bake the cake(s) for 60 minutes at 350 degrees.
