Chocolate Date Bars


From St. Julian Wine Company

1 box brownie mix
1/2 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 large eggs
1/4 cup canola oil
1/2 cup Catherman’s Port

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl until blended. Grease bottom and sides of 13×9 inch pan. Bake for 27-30 minutes. Do not overbake. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired. Store covered.
