The Michigan Wine Collaborative has rolled out a new Vintage Michigan Wine Club.
The original Vintage Michigan Wine Club was managed by the former Michigan Grape and Wine Industry Council. The program offered discounts from wineries, retailers, restaurants, hotels and others to Michigan consumers who joined the club.
The Michigan Wine Collaborative assumed management of the club when the council was disbanded. While the club has continued to provide benefits to those who joined as lifetime members when it was operated by the state, the Collaborative is now switching up the club’s look and adding additional perks.
For $25 per year, Premier members get all of the same perks as legacy lifetime members, but also a new members-only portal on the Collaborative’s volunteer-constructed website. The portal will offer a comprehensive Michigan wine events calendar; VIP tickets and early-bird registrations; Premier member tastings; the latest Michigan wine news and publications on the Collaborative’s blog; and a social forum for conversing with other Michigan wine enthusiasts.
The membership fee, along with merchandise sales and donations, helps the non-profit Collaborative cover administrative and other costs associated with promoting consumption of Michigan wines.
