The nonprofit Michigan Wine Collaborative will bring its Vintage Michigan wine club under the umbrella of Taste Michigan, a brand that serves to unify, promote, and celebrate Michigan’s entire wine industry, says Collaborative Executive Director Emily Dockery.
“The Michigan Wine Collaborative is in the process of evolving its identity to be encompassed by the Taste Michigan brand,” Dockery says. “This gives us flexibility to invite more people [in the industry] to the table and give everybody a platform to shine.”
Taste Michigan also hopes to make a splash across the state with a new line of merchandise for 2026, including branded hoodies, tanks, tote bags, and hats.
“We’re doing wholesale ordering with tasting rooms so that they can order their logo on [the merch], and it can be co-branded with Taste Michigan,” Dockery says. “It’s a really good way to unify the industry and to let people know that when they see that logo, it’s a brand for all Michigan wine.”
