Chateau Grand Traverse: Order Wine, Make a Donation to Support Families in Need — and They’ll Match It

Chateau Grand Traverse on the Old Mission Peninsula is offering customers the option to add a $5 donation to support a local nonprofit serving at-risk youth and needy families when they buy in-store or order online at cgtwines.com.

Customers can add as many donations for Step Up Northern Michigan as they like. Chateau Grand Traverse will match every $5 donation, up to $50 per customer.

Step Up Northern Michigan provides meals to families who are homeless or in need in the Traverse City area. Chateau Grand Traverse selected the group to be the beneficiary of the donations because it’s a worthy cause that can use extra support “during these very difficult times for us all.”

Here’s how it works:

• Visit cgtwines.com and add the product “Give $5 to Step Up Northern MI” to your order. (The link to that online product is here.)
• For every $5 donation up to $50 per individual, CGT will match that donation.
• Shoppers can add as many $5 donations as they like and the full amount will be donated.
• The program has been extended through April 13.
